This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Manager to relocate to beautiful regional coastal location in Queensland. With a salary of up to $150,000 plus relocation support and accommodation assistance, this role offers the chance to step into a key leadership position within a premium residential aged care community.

As Clinical Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of clinical care, providing leadership and support to the nursing team while working closely with the Service Manager to ensure operational excellence. You will also collaborate with a dedicated central support team specialising in clinical governance, quality and compliance, ensuring best-practice care while strengthening clinical capability across the team. This role offers the opportunity to lead from the front, influence quality outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
Clinical Leadership
Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards
Lead clinical governance processes and support quality improvement initiatives
Provide clinical guidance, mentoring and education to nursing staff
Resident Care
Oversee assessments, admissions and care planning
Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting
Encourage resident and family participation in care decisions
Ensure compliance with the Charter of Aged Care Rights
Team Leadership
Lead recruitment, rostering, onboarding and performance management
Foster a positive team culture focused on collaboration and continuous learning
Support staff development and competency management
Quality & Compliance
Lead clinical meetings, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor clinical indicators and mandatory reporting requirements
Ensure best-practice infection prevention and control standards
Operational Oversight
Manage clinical supplies, pharmacy coordination and stock control
Ensure safe management of medications and controlled drugs
Support efficient service delivery and cost-effective clinical operations

Essential Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior nursing or clinical leadership within residential aged care
Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
Working knowledge of AN-ACC funding and quality assurance programs
Experience with recruitment, rostering and team development
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Current National Police Check and Driver’s Licence
Highly Regarded
Certificate or Diploma in Gerontology (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working alongside clinical governance and quality teams
Knowledge of AutumnCare clinical software
